Omakase Goodness

Hey MYXers! I’m back from my Hong Kong trip but no worries of course I’m back on the eating scene in Los Angeles! I love Japanese food and omakase is one of my favorites. It’s a term that means “I’ll leave it to you.” Basically it means that you put all your trust to your sushi chef to give you whatever fish is of the best quality that particular day. It’s a great concept for those that love sashimi. You never know what you’re gonna get. It’s like a surprise each time you eat! My favorite place to go to for the splurge is Sushi Sasabune in West LA. Chef Nobu has over 40 years of experience. I love how you are greeted with a sign that tells you they do not serve any California rolls or teriyaki. This is a real Japanese place. No frilly cream cheese rolls.

The meal is always delicious! Here’s the reciept to see what everything is. By the way, that price is with a coupon discount. Yeah… it’s definitely not your everyday dinner meal. It’s so worth it though! Do you like omakase?

I love sushi! I have to try this place out one day! looks sooo yummy!
