But when their battle accidentally awakens the King of the Vampires, who has laid dormant for a thousand years, Pak and Hak must unite and use the 5 Elements Formation to stop the demon and his army of darkness. Will their powers be enough to defeat this invincible immortal? Shaolin Vs Evil Dead: Ultimate PowerIt’s more zombies and vampires as the Master Killer, GORDON LIU (Kill Bill, Shaolin Drunken Monk) returns in this highly anticipated sequel to SHAOLIN VS EVIL DEAD! His fellow Taoist priest Hak (Terry Fan from THE STORY OF RICKY and IRON FIST) has turned into a vampire and he must use all his power to stop Hak and his legion of vampires from bringing eternal darkness to the nation. Spectacular special effects and terrific fights make SHAOLIN VS EVIL DEAD: ULTIMATE POWER the perfect conclusion to this martial arts horror thriller!
The Monster The gorgeous SHU QI (The Transporter) is captivating in this horror film about a family whose perfect life crumbles around them. After the mysterious disappearance of her son, May (Shu Qi) is forced to confront the secret history of her new home and the evil that lurks ominously in every corner of the labyrinth-like apartment complex. THE MONSTER is a breathlessly frightening, emotionally charged horror drama that reveals how deceptive the illusion of perfect bliss can be. Also starring hugely talented KARENA LAM who is virtually unrecognizable under the hideous makeup!
Slim Till Dead Anthony Wong (Infernal Affairs) gives yet another great performance in this tongue-in-cheek horror whodunit. Police officer Wong is trying to catch a serial killer whose female victims are all either starved to death or carved until they weigh exactly 70 pounds. Helping him with leads to the case is Cherrie, a beauty salon employee who is losing her regular customers one by one to the psychopath. Filled with dark humor, SLIM TILL DEAD is not only an intriguing murder mystery, but also a macabre parody on people’s obsession with losing weight
The Detective Aaron Kwok (THE STORM RIDERS) gives a bravura performance in this unflinching suspense thriller directed by Oxide Pang of the Pang Brothers fame (THE EYE, FOREST OF DEATH). Kwok is Tam, a dingy private detective in Thailand. His latest case is to find a woman for his friend, whom he claims is trying to kill him. As Tam begins his investigation, however, he finds himself knee deep in a mystery that becomes murkier, as each new lead Tam gets always uncovers a dead body or puts him in great danger. Now thoroughly obsessed with the case, Tam vows to find the truth behind the deaths and track the woman down. Filled with the unmistakable Pang Brothers signature style of arresting visuals, atmospheric music, and unexpected shocks, THE DETECTIVE is a solid nail-biter that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
Curse of Lola Francis Ng (WHITE DRAGON, THE BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR) and Tian Yuan, Best New Artist winner at the 2005 Hong Kong Film Awards, star in this horror thriller. The Deserted InnDirected by Zhang Jing (Seven Nights), horror thriller The Deserted Inn is based on a novel by Cai Jun whoseNaraka 19 was also recently adapted to film. Starring Hong Kong idol Kenny Kwan (Trivial Matters), He Mei Tian (Protege), and up-and-coming actress Zhang Meng, The Deserted Inn links the ancient past and the eerie present into a nail-biting tale of tragic romance and deadly scares. The film also co-stars Kenny Bee and Law Ka Ying. After making it big with one popular song, composer Meng Fan (Kenny Kwan) hits a creative block and both his career and love life gradually nosedive. To recover his writing inspiration, he goes off on a trip alone to the remote, picturesque town of Huang Cun. He checks into the “Deserted Inn”, and ends up in a room with a bed that dates back to the Ming Dynasty. There’s no peace and quiet for Meng though as he encounters numerous strange incidences and is plagued by nightmares and the eerie sound of wailing singing. That’s when he learns about the chilling story of his bed’s previous owner, Rouge.
Yes, I Can See Dead People Sun Boy’z member Steven Cheung sheds his bandmates to take on a starring role in Yes, I Can See Dead People, a teen horror film about that age-old movie problem: seeing ghosts. As the title might suggest, Yes, I See Dead People has moments of comedy to lighten its otherwise creepy premise, but it still features tense atmosphere and plenty of shock scares that should have teenagers cowering in delighted fear. Though the concept of “seeing ghosts” has long been overused, Yes, I See Dead People manages to separate itself from similar genre entries, managing a fine balance between creepy horror and knowing comedy. Steven Cheung departs from his usual sidekick roles to play the hero, and is joined by Kris Gu (The Eye 10), screen veteran Lau Kong, and fellow EEG singer Mandy Chiang. Steven Cheung is Nam, a slacker who has the power to see dead people – and he seems to be pretty okay with it. From departed friends to ghostly children, the undead populate the corridors of Nam’s housing estate, and he’s used to their presence, disturbing though it should be. Things change when his brother Tung (Kris Gu) begins acting distant and wetting himself, and Nam thinks that there may more be going on than just his brother’s lack of self control. Estate security guard Fok (Lau Kong) clues Nam in: there are dangerous ghosts too, and one of them is starting to mount his own terror campaign by possessing Nam’s neighbors and family. Fok also teaches Nam that those who possess ghost-seeing powers must bear the responsibility to use them properly. But can Nam learn the tricks of the ghost-busting trade before the evil spirits take his brother or the stewardess (Kathy Yuen) that he has the hots for?
The First 7th Night Map King (Gordon Lam) is a taxi driver who can get to any destination imaginable. One evening he was dispatched to guild a cargo truck to a place where he only knows how to get to; the Moon and Sun Village. The remote village is known for the tragic accident of a widow named Fong (Michelle Ye), her chubby young son and a group of armed bandits who turn up at her inn seeking refuge after a bloody robbery.
