Kollaboration, the largest Asian American and Pacific Islander talent showcase live show in LA has finally landed in San Francisco. It was a sold out event held at the Palace of Fine Arts on April 10th. Hosted by the founder of Kollaboration, Paul Kim (aka PK), the show featured up and coming talents in the entertainment industry. Eight competing teams impressed the judges with their songs and dance, while special guests showed off their style and craft on stage.

Standup comedians Joey Guila (Host of That’s My Jam!, Winner of Kings of Comedy Competition), Mark Zhang (SF Walk and Plank Comedy Competition finalist), and Kevin Shea (appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend), dazzled the audience with their humorous presentation. Other special guests included Shin-B (MC), Sway Penala (American Idol finalist), Kero One (MC/DJ/Producer), Groove Against the Machine (dance crew) and Joe and Bart from JustKiddingFilms (youtube celebs). Audience were also granted the chance to participate in the open freestyle dance and vocal competitions.

At the end of the night, the grand prize winner was announced to be 17-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist Alex Salazar and his partner percussionist Vincent Wang. If you missed the show, or if you were not around San Francisco, don’t worry! MYX will now share the exciting moments of the show with the photos we took:
